Meet the makers

Creativity is
a way of life.

I’m Shelley Morningsong, an artist, songwriter, musician, and fashion designer. Creating clothing is another way I share my love of color, design, and individual expression. It is medicine to my soul to create beautiful pieces that can be worn, enjoyed, and made part of someone’s life.

Here at Elk Dance Native Threads, you’ll find my clothing alongside hand-beaded work by my husband, Fabian Fontenelle.

Fabian is an internationally renowned Native American men’s traditional dancer, historian, storyteller, and beadwork artist. His traditional beadwork reflects his artistry and the utmost respect for his culture.

Our shop is here in Zuni Pueblo, New Mexico. We’re glad you found us.
